Ann, a native South Carolinian, received her BS in Mathematics from College of Charleston and her MD from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. She has a passion for primary care and is a founding partner of Brio Primary Care. During medical school she was a mentor with Trident Urban League, Project GO (Girls’ Options), a teen pregnancy prevention program. She and her husband Kyle have 2 children that enjoy the restorative nature, and chance to nurture each other that spending time together outdoors brings. She finds joy in listening to others, guiding them, and making decisions together. She supports the belief that being seen, known, loved, and given attention can bring joy to an individual or family in need.
